As the tradeshow is going virtual for the very first time, we wanted to give you some additional information about the event. See below FAQs and information on how you can win exciting prizes at this years tradeshow!

When is the Parfetts Virtual Tradeshow?

The live event days are Thursday 13 – Friday 14 May 2021.

How do I attend the event?

Once you have registered your place at the Virtual Tradeshow, we will add you as a member in the event portal. A week before the event we will send your log in details via email. You can then follow the link to the event portal.

What will be at the Virtual Tradeshow?

The event portal will include a main stage, games area, exclusive deals and virtual exhibition stands. Keep checking the website for a full list of our exhibiting suppliers.

How can an exhibition stand be virtual?

Each exhibitor will have their own stand page, including product/brand images, downloadable content and videos for you to learn more about them. Each stand will also feature a 'Contact Us' button so you can leave a message with the supplier.

I don’t have a trade account or a facia store – can I attend?

Prospective retailers can also attend, register HERE and select "I would like to join Parfetts".

Do I have to have a laptop to access the event?

The event portal is compatible with laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. We would recommend using a laptop where possible to view the main stage content, virtual exhibition stands and 1-2-1 appointments* in the best way.

*Trade Account Holders and Prospective Retailers will not have 1-2-1 appointments

What is live chat?

It’s an instant chat function which allows you to chat to any attendee during the live event days – without booking an appointment.

How do I secure deals at the show?

Deals can be accessed via the Deals page, as well as via each supplier’s stand. Here you can select quantities and add the items to your basket. If you have lots of appointments to attend on 13-14 May don’t worry! Deals can be secured up until Saturday 22 May so even when the event has finished you can log back in and browse these at a time that suits you.

 

What’s happening on the Main Stage?

The Main Stage will feature sessions run by Parfetts as well as presentations from our suppliers. You can check the agenda by going to the Main Stage tab and scrolling down the page.

How will I interact with Suppliers?

Both Retailers and Suppliers will have access to the platform ahead of the live event days where appointments for 13-14 May can be booked directly with one another.

How will the 1-2-1 appointments work?

It’s a bit like Zoom but better so please make sure your device has a camera and microphone. You’ll access 1-2-1 video calls with suppliers from your personalised calendar​. During these calls you’ll be able to discuss whatever you like with a representative from the virtual exhibition stand. You can also invite your colleagues to join the call, if you think it will be of interest to them too!

 

Who can attend?

An invitation will be sent out to the email address linked to your store. You can then register yourself and an additional member of staff via the website. If you are logging in separately, you will both need to register with a unique email address.

Chances to win

During the Tradeshow your activity will be tracked and converted into points. 

Activities include;

  • Logging into the event portal

  • Viewing main stage content

  • Visiting exhibitor's stands

  • Attending 1-2-1 appointments

If you collect enough points during the live event dates you will be in with the chance to win vouchers to redeem at your local Parfetts depot!
